How it works

Create an account with your email. Every account gets 100 free credits each month.

2Verify your app

Register your Knack App ID and prove you own the app by pasting a token into it once and leaving it in place. Knavigator MCP only answers for apps you have verified.

3Connect the MCP

Add the server to your AI client with OAuth or an API key, then ask your first question.

What it reads

Your apps only

Knavigator MCP answers only for apps you have registered and verified. Arbitrary App IDs are refused.

Structure, never records

It reads your app's metadata: fields, views, scenes, tasks, emails, connections. It never reads or stores record data, and it cannot write anything.

Edit your app in the Builder, then ask. Answers reflect your changes within seconds.

What is Knavigator MCP?

It is the Knavigator app, now as an MCP you can talk to directly using your favorite LLM. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Grok, and any other MCP-capable client, and ask about your Knack app's structure in plain language.

How much does it cost?

How is this different from Knack's recently released MCP?
  1. Knack MCP can modify your app and can read your app's actual records/data. Knavigator MCP cannot - it is read-only and never touches your records.
  2. Knack MCP's read functions are limited to a small subset of things related to your app schema. Knavigator MCP has comprehensive coverage.

Yes, it should. It has been extensively tested on Classic. There may be things in Next Gen that are read differently - if you encounter a bug, reach out to support@avvera.ca. Bugs will be fixed quickly!

Yes, absolutely. That app will remain free and available for you to use.
